"Excellent tutoring and course content"

"Excellent - learned lots and at a good speed. Lots of great ideas - inspiring! Excellent with lots of support"

COURSE OUTLINE

You will begin by learning the basic techniques then develop and practice these on your own designs.

Focus will be on teaching the process of how to create a hand-cut stencil which can be a simple one-colour screen print or a more complex three-colour print using registration and pattern repeat. Developing a print using overlays of colour, negative and positive imagery will also be covered.

Later in the course there will be a chance to create stencils digitally using the Circuit machine. Advanced courses will offer photo stencilling where you will be taught how to use positives and UV exposure techniques onto screens.

You will have a chance to design some cushion covers, an apron, tote bag or a handmade gift of your choice.

This course also makes a great gift for those who love arts and craft.

To get the most out of this course think ahead about what type of design you'd like to print (bring A3 print outs of simple images).
