What do you do with your old clothes, sheets and other textiles? Op shops are overflowing and often now rejecting unwanted textiles and approximately 92 million tons of clothing ends up in landfill every year! It's now the perfect time to come get creative and give your pre-loved textiles another purpose.
Techniques such as weaving, amish knot rug and big crocheting will be shown to create your own rag rugs, placemats, wall hanging or cushion covers.
Wooden frame hand looms will be provided. Bring your pre loved clothing/textiles and a project in mind.

Ingrid Anderson
Ingrid creates screen printed fabrics with an innate connection to local design, heritage and contemporary art. Her designs are inspired by a love of New Zealand’s native flora and fauna and are recognisable with her use of simple motifs and bold flat colour.
Ingrid has a strong social and environmental conscience and chooses to support local product and services wherever possible.
All her products are designed printed and made in New Zealand.
